Jules Hobbs
Jules began working as a professional actor in 1983 performing in theatres nationwide and also in Europe. In 1996 she joined The English Shakespeare Company (education department) and remained with the company for four years until its closure and re-emergence as The Young Shakespeare Company. As a freelance drama practitioner she has worked for The Courtyard Theatre Hereford, Chipping Norton Theatre and also works for Lynx Theatre in Education ‘Play In A Day’ for which she also writes. Aside from working in the educational field Jules continues to work as a performer. She also works in the corporate sector as a freelance role player and trainer.
Richard Curnow BA (Hons) Lit (Open)
Richard trained as a curative educational teacher at St Christopher’s Rudolf Steiner School Bristol, going on to teach children with special needs for six years. He then trained as an actor at The Birmingham School of Speech and Drama from 1981-1984. Since then Richard has worked extensively in theatre, radio and has many years experience in the field of Theatre in Education for companies such as: The English Shakespeare Company, Courtyard Theatre Hereford Education and Outreach Dept, Shakespeare Unlimited, Gazebo TIE Company and The Young Shakespeare Company. He still works as a jobbing actor in regional theatre and the corporate sector.
