Bringing the Text Alive
The aim of this day is to enthuse and inspire teachers to bring Shakespeare texts alive. We discover ways of doing this within the confines of the classroom combining practical exercises and games with written work.
In these workshops we look at innovative ways to identify and overcome barriers when confronted with unfamiliar texts. The objective is to equip each teacher with a toolkit from which they can select the appropriate tool to meet the needs of their students. There are notes to take away at the end of the day that include most of the exercises and games covered plus some extra ideas.

We appreciate it is sometimes difficult for teachers to get away for a whole day therefore we can provide INSET sessions at the end of the school day in your school. We can provide a one off two-hour session or a series of four two-hour sessions at regular intervals.
Prices for INSET days/sessions are dependant upon the number of teachers attending and the number of sessions required.
