A FINDING THE WILL Primary School Workshop or Project Week, whether it be for KS1 or KS2, is an all-round, all inclusive, interactive learning experience. Workshops are also available for SEND Schools (KS3/4) – or Special Education Schools. A complimentary Teachers’ Pack is provided for every Interactive Workshop and Project Week booking.

Workshops and Project Weeks We Offer

Primary School – 2 hour Interactive Workshop

  • Interactive Workshop is aimed at KS1 and KS2.
  • Children are encouraged to use their imaginations, answering questions and playing characters in the story.
  • Children require no prior knowledge of the play, in fact we actively encourage teachers not to reveal the story before we arrive.
  • Using minimal props and costumes the children act out the story and speak some of the original text.
  • For children who feel more comfortable answering questions than performing, ample opportunity is given for them to shine.
  • A complimentary Teachers’ Pack is provided.

Special Educational School - Bespoke Interactive Workshop

  • Interactive Workshop is suitable for KS3 and KS4.
  • The length of the workshop can vary according to timetable and needs.
  • The interactive workshop is tailored to fit the needs of the students.
  • The workshop can focus on the whole play or certain scenes, themes or characters.
  • Using minimal props and costumes the students act out the story and speak some of the original text.
  • Students are encouraged to use their imaginations, answering questions and playing characters in the story.
  • For students who feel more comfortable answering questions than performing, ample opportunity is given for them to shine.
  • A complimentary Teachers’ Pack is Provided

Primary School – Shakespeare Project Week

  • The Project Week culminates in the children performing their own version of the chosen play. Every child participating is guaranteed a speaking role.
  • As with the two-hour workshop the children require no prior knowledge of the play.
  • On Day One we take the children through the play using our interactive workshop.
  • During the course of the week we have two sessions with each class working on their particular section of the play and then bring it all together on the Friday.
  • We provide a bespoke script with enough speaking parts for every child to have a role.
  • We use a mixture of the original text and modern English.
  • We provide a soundtrack with effects and apposite music.
  • There is scope for making props and costumes where appropriate and for the children to use their instrumental skills.
  • A complimentary Teachers’ Pack is provided.
